A Saturday afternoon I received a frantic call from one of my staff. She’s at the airport checking in and has been informed she will not be able to travel to Europe. The European Union requires at least three month validity of your passport. She only has two months remaining. After calming her down and speaking with my Account Director, I am on the first flight to Berlin Sunday morning.
Less than 24 hours to pack. What are your travel essentials besides your passport?
1. Universal outlet converter
2. Bose Noise cancelling headphones (I was very skeptical at first especially since it was a hefty investment for HEADPHONES! No worries because I’m a walking billboard now. I don’t travel without them. QVC made the purchase a little easier.)
3. Tablet (loaded with audiobooks)
4. Power strip
5. Sony camera lens
6. Portable battery charger
7. TSA/Global Entry number
8. Of course clothes and hygiene items 🙂
Working for a third party agency, airports/hotels are the office. Even as a manager, my suitcase is always 3/4 of the way packed. You just never know in our line of work, so I try to stay prepared.
Soooo, what’s on your list?
