Do you make time to see the cities you are traveling to? Do you make sure to dine at local restaurants?

I do all of the above! Typically my co-workers and I (past and present would determine the sites we wanted to see and the restaurants we wanted to dine at.  If reservations were needed, we made sure to make them prior to arriving onsite. Schedules are always hectic but map out your slow days, arrive one day earlier or even stay a day later. Being able to see the city is a MUST!

I was recently introduced to Big Bus Tours and it has been my saving grace here lately.  I get the opportunity to see all of the major sites with a chance to get off the bus, explore a bit, get back on the bus and go to the next site.  It’s wonderful! The websites have maps to show where the bus goes, so you can better plan.
