New Certification Earned

Yesterday I spent a day in NYC, so I could attend the HMCC Course at Pharma Forum. The course is 4 hours and does not include an exam.  This course was AWESOME! I handle covered recipient reporting every day, and I learned so much that I did not know.

The class had such a diverse make-up of attendees. We learned from each other. Other pharma planners told the group how they handle the different situations. The plus to our course, we had a submitter in attendance. She told us the issues she comes across in regards to the documents and data that she receives. Pat explained the different “master” companies have to obey and how things are so gray that many pharma and medical device companies are collecting more data than necessary just to cover themselves.

If you work in the healthcare industry, I HIGHLY recommend this course.

SIDE NOTE: I was able to attend this course because MPI Foundation awarded me a professional development scholarship.
